Discover Snowdonia's Hidden Gems: Forgotten History

20th May 2018, £15 per person with all profits to Snowdonia Society.

During the year, Snowdon Events is hosting a series of guided walks to the lesser known areas of Snowdonia. These walks will be in aid of Snowdonia Society with profits going to help their work. Over 5 walks we will unlock the door to Snowdonia's hidden gems. You can come along to as many or as little as you like.

We at Snowdon Events want to promote Snowdonia and showcase the less travelled areas of the national park.

The 2nd part of the Discover Snowdonia Range will take place in May. We will journey through Snowdonia's forgotten history with views stretching accross the national park.

Avoiding the crowds, exploring the lesser known part of the Molewyns and abandoned mining communities. The eerie setting provides spectacular 360 views and a depth of history.

Take a step back in time, fully guided by qualified Mountain Leaders and kept to small groups.

We will meet at the Lakeside cafe car park (near Tanygrisiau power station, map below).

Meet at 9.30am for a 9.45am start, Sunday 20th May 2018. Full kit list will be sent along with other information upon booking. The guided walk will be a full day taking the time to capture photos and stop for lunch, aiming to finish for 5pm at the latest.
